My dear friends,
Uploaded you can find the M Section Rulebook valid from year 2022.
There are some slight modifications that are not changes in any rule just rephrasings making things more clear. There is also rule change that was necessary to be done, because of a higher level regulation of EU Parliament overrules the original point of our rulebook about nitro content in the fuel.
For your convenience I collected the changes here.
page 7
original: 1 digital Volt meter
changed: 1 digital Volt meter – it is advisable to use a meter with minimum accuracy of 0.1%
page 12
Inserted: Use of battery checker devices as substitution of Voltage meters are not allowed.
page 27
original: The length is the hull length (sponsons included in the case of Mini Hydro) measured from the transom to the nose, rudders and number plate not included.
changed: The length is the hull length (sponsons included in the case of Mini Hydro) measured from the transom to the nose, rudders and number plate not included even if it is part of the mould.
And finally the important rule change I mentioned about the nitro content:
page 8
original: The amount of nitromethane in the fuel is limited to 25% w/w.
changed: The amount of nitromethane in the fuel is limited to 25% w/w or as stated in the effective EU regulations at any time, whichever is less.
Applied from 2 February 2022. this is maximized to 16% w/w. (See Regulation (EU) 2019/1148 of the European Parliament and of the Council)
Even the TC cannot vote against this regulation so I applied it myself. You can find the official regulation here.
Kind regards,
Csaba Dánielfy
