NAVIGA Dear guys and girls !
In Section E a new race class will be introduced as of 2025 named E speed class, in analogy with F1-E or F1-V in Section M the aim is to make the fastest lap around the oval track individually. The rules for this are quite simple. Each competitor has 3 minutes to obtain the fastest lap around the oval track by him or herself.
The fastest lap made within those 3 minutes will be the final result, Only correct laps around the track will be counted, missing a buoy means a non valid lap and circling back for a missed buoy is not allowed. This will be done as well in Mono as in Hydro. Boats to participate in Mono are Mini Mono ,Mono 1 and Mono 2.
Boats to participate in Hydro are Mini Hydro, Hydro 1 and Hydro 2. Internal combustion boats ( in short IC boats) can also participate but with a restriction of max 3.5cc ( 2.11cc motors and 3.5cc motors). All boats must be equipped as stipulated in the M section rules in regard to the number of cells, so for Mini max 3 cells, for M1 and H1 max 3 cells and for M2 and H2 max 6 cells.
For IC boats the following requirement are made .Boats must have surface drive propeller , No typical FSR-V Boats!! Only typical offshore mono’s or hydro’s are allowed .
“The fuel for IC motors is according to the latest rules of max 16% Nitro.” The weight of the batteries is still under debate but in my own personal opinion i feel it would be better to use free battery weight and not restrict by minimum or maximum weight. For the rest everything is free, motor, prop an so on.
