Dear Presidency,
From August 12 to 18, 2024 of A/B classes was held in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. The World Championship, in which representatives of the teams of Bulgaria, England, Switzerland, Ukraine, Hungary and Armenia took part.
As in the previous year, the teams of Russia and Belarus did not participate for a well-known reason.
The Federation of Model Boating Sports of Bulgaria, under the leadership of the Federation President Yevgeny Genov, did a lot of work and worked throughout the championship to hold the World Championship at the necessary level, to create the best training conditions for the athletes and to record high sports results at the championship.
It is no coincidence that three World records were set at this championship: 2 by Ukrainian and 1 by Armenian athletes. By the way, the latter in the youth (under 18) championship.
It particularly highlights their increased interest in model boating and in particular A/B classes in recent years and their creative approach to model making.

During the championship, a pleasant and very symbolic surprise awaited us when we learned that next year 2025 in England. are going to hold the regular European championship of A/B class, as a sign of 1975. of the 50th anniversary of the first A/B class European championship held in their place.
It will certainly be very impressive, it will cause nostalgia in many people and I am sure it will grow into a unique holiday.
I think it will also create a new stimulus and interest for the further development of A/B classes.
In the end, I consider it necessary to deeply thank all the people who did everything in Bulgaria in 2024. To conduct the Class A/B World Championship in a caring, objective and high-level manner.
