Do not even think of cheating with limiters! – NAVIGA Section M
Dear Section M and Section E racers,
We are in the first season when the racers’ own limiters are to be used in all events.
Use of the HAT SYSTEM did eliminate any possible modification of the limiters and connections at EC and WC. Now we use our own limiters, that in a way makes it possible of tricky solutions to fool the limiter to measure less energy than it was really used up, giving some adantage to the racer trying to cheet this way. Years ago, we introduced the idea of energy limit in order to give everybody the chance to take part in a fair race. Time has proved that the idea is good, and opens the field of developing the models, finding more efficient solutions instead of spending money on new and newer batteries.
Having said that, now the cause, I started to write this post. We are at the start of the race season, but already heard people mentioning a way of possible cheating with limiters.
We also avare some possible ways and even we know, how to catch most of them. Believe me, many of the tricks are very easy to find and -altough it can be time consuming- any abnormal operation can be detected.
Let me tell you, any cheating destroys our wonderful hobby, the sportive fairness -which is the most important rule after safety- and also disrespect to the other competitors.
Altough it is obvious, hereby I announce: ANY ALTERATION IN THE LIMITERS OR THE CONNECTION SCHEME, THAT AFFECTS THE ACCURACY OF THE MEASUREMENT IS STRICKTLY PROHIBITED!
Such a fraud can not be committed by accident. It is clearly an intentional, dirty trick.
After talking to the Section Leader of Section E and the President of Naviga, we strongly believe, that if anyone is caught in such a scam, they should face severe punishment. Depending of the circumstances, it can lead to a ban for life!
Please take it seriously, do not spoil the fun of the others. The game is good only, if played by good people. -And you are good people.
Wishing you fun and joy at the races!
Regards,
Csaba Dánilefy
